Asandir's interviews with Newgrounds forum users

This week's interview features the user hitman1993. You will read about his opinion on the Featureless Chat, his reaction to the adult section of Newgrounds and much more.

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join? Why did you choose the username hitman1993?

hitman1993:

"The story of how I found Newgrounds is one of friendship and one of childish ignorance. I was 13 at the time, and my good friend Andre told me he made a series of videos called The KH Chronicles and that I could watch them on Newgrounds. That night, I get on my computer and went on Newgrounds for the first time in my life. I was horrified. The first thing I saw was an adult submission and freaked out, exiting the window. The next day, Andre laughs at me and tells me Newgrounds isn't really about adult content, however it's there. So I gave Newgrounds a second chance. I looked up The KH Chronicles as I had been told and watched them all. I wasn't sure if they were really created by my friend Andre, so I did what any 13 year old boy new to Newgrounds would do. I made an account and left a review. A review which went unanswered. I, of course, later found out those videos weren't really made by my friend. I noticed there was some quality games and movies here, so I kept coming back every once in a while until I eventually was on here everyday. As for why I chose this username, I not entirely sure. It's a username I've never used anywhere else. I guess I just thought it would seem badass at the time."

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?

hitman1993:

"Absolutely. You can easily tell by looking at my early reviews and forum posts that I was a dumb kid who didn't know what he was doing. I didn't actually start becoming an active forum poster until around early 2010, three years after my initial sign-up date. Before that, I spent my time here just playing games and leaving reviews, mostly. I sure was missing out."

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you?

hitman1993:

"First person I think of is Donut. We bonded over a lost PS3 controller charger. See, we were PSN friends but he hadn't been on in while, so I asked why, and he told me he lost his controller charger. Knowing I had an extra, I offered to mail it to him. So I did, and he sent back Just Cause 2 in return. Haven't heard much of him recently. Dosensuppen and I are pretty cool, as well. I think we might be... more than friends. I've also had a few run-ins with Light, he's a cool dude. I used to be friends with HayBayBee. Not sure what she's been doing lately. Other users like me, but I can't quite think of any other friends, per se."

Are there any users that you would consider enemies or that you just don't like?

hitman1993:

"Rummy0. He is incredibly obnoxious and feels like he has to bash everything I post. That guy gets on my nerves. Bees also doesn't like me for some reason, so I don't like him either. I also don't like anyone who has been picking on me in the chat. Seriously, guys."

What is your opinion about the forums? Is there one forum that you prefer? And is there another forum user that you want to see getting interviewed by me?

hitman1993:

"I love the forums here. I tend to stick around General most of the time, while going into Video Games as well. I also used to post in the Metal Hell, but I stopped hanging out there eventually. Not sure why. Newgrounds just seems more mature than other sites I've been to. Yeah, we have our fun with our cock jokes and whatnot, but this is the kind of place where if you post asking for advice, you'll actually get it. As for other users to interview, I'm surprised you haven't gotten Manly-Chicken yet. Yeah, him."

I guess that you have an opinion about the moderators of Newgrounds. Do you think that they do a great job or not?

hitman1993:

"I do, actually. I think they all do their jobs well. Any time I've been banned, it's been pretty reasonable and I can't say I've really seen any abuse of power. Other users may disagree, but they're probably just butthurt."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Would you like to become a moderator on Newgrounds? If so, what kind of moderator?

hitman1993:

"As cool as that would be, I don't think I would do a good job. I'm not on here as much as I used to be, for one thing, so I wouldn't be able to spend much time doing my job. However, if I were to be a mod, I'd like to be a forum mod. Everyone loves a forum mod."

You were a member before the Redesign 2007. Tell me how you experienced that time as Newgrounds user. What changes did you like the most?

hitman1993:

"Even though I did sign up before the 2007 redesign, I wasn't around here all that much before the redesign happened. So honestly, I can't give a whole lot of input here."

The redesign happened this year. Tell me what you think about it. What do you like and what is not so good?

hitman1993:

"It took some getting used to, but I am loving it. Everything Tom and the staff have been working on and changing around the site has been for the better and it's making Newgrounds a better place to be. It was pretty buggy at first, but it's perfect now. One thing I like quite a bit is the notification system, it makes it so much easier to keep up on what my favorite users are doing. Seperating movies and games was another nice change, along with the new video player and BBS video link embed thing. This site just keeps getting better, in my opinion. One thing I've happened to noticed other users having trouble with is the forum search. People seem to not realize the search bar is all in one place now. I like that feature, it's just something I've noticed."

The featureless Newgrounds chat has arrived. What do you think about it? Do you like the chat?

hitman1993:

"I do like it. I usually see the same few people in there, but there's nothing wrong with that. I've made a few friends and a few enemies in there already, but it's always a nice place to go when I don't feel like doing schoolwork anymore. We can chat about whatever we want, quick and easy. It's nice."

Every person has secrets. Can you tell one of yours or something else that we didn't know about you yet?

hitman1993:

"I don't think anyone knows that I'm also a bit of a /b/rother. I will always choose Newgrounds over 4chan, it's just fun to hang out there every once in a while."

What can we expect from you in the future, hitman1993?

hitman1993:

"Most likely the same old stuff. Posting in the BBS, hanging out in the chat, playing games and the like. I've never been able to truly contribute to Newgrounds, but I would absolutely love to at some point. I've always wanted to get the right equipment to record music and put it up here. I'm not the best musician, but with some help from friends and the right tools, I might begin submitting original music. I also tried out the Games Factory 2 a few times when that was first released, but I failed. So don't expect much of anything from me."

Interview with hitman1993

Posted by Asandir - May 21st, 2012

Asandir's interviews with Newgrounds forum users

This week's interview features the user Skaren. He will tell us about custimization of userpages, how he became a brony and the Invisible Pony Crew .

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join? Why did you choose the username adamflecko and why did you change it to Skaren?

Skaren:

"I discovered NG way back in 2005, I had a very short attention span, I was always looking for something to entertain me, Newgrounds was the first site that could fill the quota of movies and games I needed. It seemed like something interesting was always a quick search away. I immediately fell in love with Madness once I discovered it, it actually is what made me sign up. I was going through small child PMS or something on that fateful day in 2007, I was feeling really emotional. I got sad when I realized that the whole time I had been voting, I could have been helping the artists more with a higher voting power, and I wanted to review, I really wanted to be helpful. I set up an account, but of course my name "Adam" was taken, so I went ahead and popped on "Flecko," the word I stole from the little ad that pops up before Madness Interactive (Flecko.net) and voila, adamflecko was born. I killed adamflecko because he wasn't who I was anymore. I was much more forum oriented than games and movies by then. Skaren is a name I came up with, it's pronounced either "Scare en" or "Scar en," whichever way you want to say it is up to you, but I came up with it by adding an "en" to the word scare and changing a letter, so that's how I say it. Also, Skaren is my name on other sites, so I figured I'd make it easier and more universal."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?

Skaren:

"Oh, Newgrounds has changed me so much, everyone on this site taught me to never give a fuck. The site had already fit my sick sense of humor, and it made me feel less alone, less different. I feel like I'm home when I'm on NG, it's definitely my one and only home. Newgrounds made me think outside of the box, it's made me happier with myself as a person, and I actually think of myself as a Newgrounder at heart more than anything else. I've become a more laid back user since I was adamflecko. I was filled with rage back then, and still am to this day, but I've learned not to waste it on people who don't deserve it. I'm now always out to make people laugh, and be friends with everyone. Honestly, I'll be friends with anyone."

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you?

Skaren:

"Oh man, copy+paste online section. I love nearly everyone on NG, you guys are great. However, my closest friends are (in no particular order) TurkeyBased, Sectus, FinalFina, SoapyCola, RightWingGamer, and Mumbo."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Are there any users that you would consider enemies or that you just don't like?

Skaren:

"There are a few, I'm always up for being their friend if they decide to denounce their evil ways and stop being such raving cockheads, so I'm not going to name any of them. Plus, the ones that I wouldn't be friends with, even if they had a change of heart, aren't worth the space in this interview."

What is your opinion about the forums? Is there one forum that you prefer? And is there another forum user that you want to see getting interviewed by me?

Skaren:

"I love the forums, I post like crazy in General, the other forums aren't busy enough for me. I also think that the other forums get repetitive, and I'm not quite up to par for the creator forums yet, I'm not happy with my art or literature yet. I would like to see SoapyCola get interviewed, he's fairly new, but he's got a great mind, he's funny, and instantly became one of my closest friends on this site."

I guess that you have an opinion about the moderators of Newgrounds. Do you think that they do a great job or not?

Skaren:

"This question is tough. The mods do their job as best as they can, but it seems to me like they're spread too thin, as some days they will be cracking down horribly on everybody in the forums, and then some other day, eight spam threads can get through and stay standing. I'm not sure why, because I believe it's against the rules, but my appreciation thread still lives to this day, even though I'm sure a mod has seen it. I also believe some of the bans are complete bullshit, such as TurkeyBased being banned for underlining his posts, like so."

Would you like to become a moderator on Newgrounds? If so, what kind of moderator?

Skaren:

"I would love to be a mod, I would take it seriously, honest to God. I've been on this site for five years and I've always not-so-secretly wanted to be a mod. In particular, I would like to be a forum mod, it seems like I would come in handy, since it seems like I'm online when no mods are, so I might fill that gap a bit."

The redesign is finally here. Tell me what you think about it. What do you like and what is not so good?

Skaren:

"I love the new design, it's so beautiful and flashy. I love the new backgrounds and color scheme. The only thing I don't really like, but Tom told me he's working on making, is the fact that you can't make custom userpages for yourself, which I was looking forward to. Also, I'm glad there's no edit button, havoc would be wreaked."

The featureless Newgrounds chat has arrived. What do you think about it? Do you like the chat?

Skaren:

"The chat is a bit too busy for me usually, and when it's slow enough for me to actually enjoy it, it's filled with the type of people I hate. I've already been banned from chat for racism, and been warned several times by other chat mods for racism, I'm not actually racist, I'm just attempting to piss off the kids I don't like to entertain myself. The offer for friendship still stands for them though, I'm just kind of a dick sometimes. Scratch sometimes, I'm a dick most of the time."

You seem to be a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Can you tell our readers how you became a fan and what you like about the show? Has being a brony affected your life?

Skaren:

"I was bored during a school vacation, and I saw tox making a post, he had said something about ponies. I thought hard about what the appeal could be of the show, and how it got so popular, I finally decided to just ask him. After sending a PM to tox, he basically just told me to watch an episode. At the very beginning I was scowling, "what the fuck is this shit," I was asking myself, but I'm glad I stayed. By the end of the episode I had been in love with the show, and I could already tell Rainbow Dash was my favorite. I can very honestly say that being a brony has made me a happier person, and generally warmer and nicer to people, it turned me from a giant dick to a giant dick who's nice sometimes."

The Invisible Pony Crew was created by you. Tell me about the origins of that crew, what the crew does and what their plans for the future are.

Skaren:

"I had invented the crew mainly because I had begun making icons, not just vectors, by the way, I would draw people icons, too, Tom even used an icon I made him (although it was a vector) for a while. I made the crew because I wanted to be a part of something, and since I was already offering to make people icons, I figured why not add a bonus for bronies? Now, the crew really has no direction or purpose, as of now, it's basically just a group of friends talking and being friends with one thing in common; MLP. I was surprised by how nobody made fun of the idea, I figured I would be flamed to death by the haters, but not a single one appeared."

You make user icons, signatures and profile pictures for other users. How important is customization of userpages for you? Would you like to see more options to customize your userpage and do you miss the userpage headers?

Skaren:

"I feel like customization is very important if you want to get noticed, but it's otherwise not needed. I'm looking forward to Tom adding the custom userpage backgrounds that he told me about, I'm always up for a new task, and a whole new canvas sounds like it holds some great possibilities. I don't miss the userpage headers, none of them were creative, they were all forgetable, I think the size of the image was too small for the size of the userpage."

Every person has secrets. Can you tell one of yours or something else that we didn't know about you yet?

Skaren:

"A select few already know this about me, but I have suicidal thoughts. Every now and then I'll consider killing myself, but I always decide that it's not worth it, I always value my life too much, in the end. These started after I was diagnosed with cancer when I was six, and stayed even after I had beaten cancer when I was seven."

What can we expect from you in the future, Skaren?

Skaren:

"Expect me to stick around, I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to keep posting in the forums, I'm going to keep making art every now and again, no more audio, I got banned thanks to that dick, TurkeyBased, but I plan on getting Flash at some point and taking a crack at that. I'd like to say expect me to be a mod at some point, but I really have no control over that, so I can't really say that without sounding like a cocky fuck."

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join? Why did you choose the username Nentindo?

Nentindo:

"Well, I don't remember exactly when I found it, but it was probably around three to four years ago. I don't remember why I joined either, but it was probably because I wanted to share my creations with the world. Luckily though, the world didn't see them, as they were completely crap back then. I just left them so I can see what I used to be like, and how much I've improved. I'm still awful, but that's a few rungs up the ladder from crap. I was hoping to climb a bit higher up, the crap stained my combats. And I have absolutely no idea how I came up with Nentindo. But I'm glad that I chose it, since some people have said it's a good username and one person even said it was the best on Newgrounds!"

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?

Nentindo:

"Definitely. Newgrounds was the first proper community orientated site that I joined. People knew people. People talked about people. As you can tell, there were people. There is a staff that actually interacts with the members. And, as a recent thread and it's outcome have proved, they don't only care about money, as most companies do. And there are other examples of them putting their people above money. And I learnt more about everything. Life, The Universe, And Everything. Well, I can't actually remember anyone talking about that book, but you get the idea. I learnt stuff. It alerted me to some of the problems in the world, and some of the good things, like... Er... Next question, please."

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you?

Nentindo:

"Suprememessage, because he's the first person I talked to on this site, and he's just a nice person to be around and talk to. Also, I know that he works hard to help the site by getting rid of abusive reviews and such.

Bobbybroccoli, because he's helped out a lot in the 3DS friend code thread by doing lists of everybody's codes, which I'm sure everyone in the thread is thankful for, he beta tested the demos for my games, Tremoid and Poke A Mon. Also, we did an art swap, which was fun.

And last but not least, Asandir, because he is most likely the nicest user on Newgrounds. It's unnatural. But it's not the same kind of unnatural as having two noses, because you'd just cut one of them off. Nobody should want to cut off Asandir's metaphorical "niceness nose". Also, I know that he helps get rid off many abusive reviews."

Are there any users that you would consider enemies or that you just don't like?

Nentindo:

"I don't think I'm un/popular enough to make enemies. I'm hardly known, but I guess there's always someone that will hate you wherever you go. I'm sure I'm on someone's to-kill list, somewhere."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

What is your opinion about the forums? Is there one forum that you prefer? And is there another forum user that you want to see getting interviewed by me?

Nentindo:

"I like using the forums, especially General, since it gets the most diverse group of users, even if a lot of them are annoying and/or trolls. I don't really know many people on here, and everyone I know has been interviewed, so... I dunno."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

I guess that you have an opinion about the moderators of Newgrounds. Do you think that they do a great job or not?

Nentindo:

"They do their job well, but my only complaint is that they sometimes abuse their powers. But I guess anybody with those powers would abuse them a little."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Would you like to become a moderator on Newgrounds? If so, what kind of moderator?

Nentindo:

"Disregard what I said above, I would definitely be the perfect forum mod. In all seriousness though, I think I would be good at it, and I spend enough time on the forums to police it well, it's just that I'm not a frequent poster."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

The redesign is finally here. Tell me what you think about it. What do you like and what is not so good?

Nentindo:

"I prefer the old design to be honest, but that's probably just nostalgia. But I really miss the old layout for the profiles. The new ones, and I know they aren't, seem really messy. And although it seems to be that I imagined it, I'm sure that Tom said we would have a classic button, so we could see the site as it was in the last design. I was looking forward to that. Also, having more than one colour background makes it hard to make a matching sig, so I gave up."

So far, you have made 2 flash games. How did you start to make flashes and will you release more flashes on Newgrounds in the future?

Nentindo:

"Well, I've always wanted to make games and animations, and then I found out about The Games Factory 2. Yes, yes, I know that many of you will hate me now. And I'm hoping I'll release more flashes, since they are demos. Although, there is the slight problem of all of the files being on my broken laptop..."

In the year 2011 you made 2 songs for the audio portal. Will you make more music in the future? Which tools are you using?

Nentindo:

"Well, I did have another piece of music, but I don't know if I'll ever get around to posting it. And I use Aviary, and will be for any other music unless I find another better free program that I can use without knowing anything about music other than whether it sounds nice or not."

You have multiple pets, including at least one cat and one dog. How important are pets for you?

Nentindo:

"Very important. If I didn't have them, I wouldn't be able to talk to myself without seeming mad. Although I guess people will think I'm mad anyway. Also, I like having them because... I actually don't know, but I know that I wouldn't be able to function properly without them."

Judging from your username I'll take a wild guess and say that you like videogames. Is there one series that you like the most? And is there a game that you were looking forward to but that turned out to be disappointing?

Nentindo:

"Just a little fact here before I answer the question, although my name is a play on Nintendo, they don't make my favourite consoles. The original X-Box is my favourite console, although my favourite handhelds are made by Nintendo. Anyway, I don't really follow any one series particularly, although I guess it must be Pokémon, since I have most of the games. Although, if you dismiss the quantity of games in the series and replace it with how much I like them, it's a tie between the Portal games, the Jet Set Radio and the The Darkness game series."

Every person has secrets. Can you tell one of yours or something else that we didn't know about you yet?

Nentindo:

"Well, there are not really any secrets to tell, or at least that I'll tell to a load of strangers, so here are a few random facts about me: - I stole my neighbour's cat. - I have double vision. - I have to wear glasses, but I don't know how they work since the actual eye moves by itself, but they do work, so that's good. - I keep an axe, a BB gun (It looks exactly like the real thing), and a pool cue in my room in case some robbers come in. I'm not scared of robbery; I just want to scare them. - I forgot the password and email for my alt. - I collect Gameboys and Gameboy games (But it's extremely pitiful, for a collection). - I don't really have any more facts that could interest you, though I doubt those did anyway."

What can we expect from you in the future, Nentindo?

Nentindo:

"My death, perhaps some music, hopefully a completed flash or two, possibly some art and most likely a few posts on the BBS."

Interview with Nentindo

Posted by Asandir - May 11th, 2012

Unusal update today since one of my interviews vanished somehow - so I just post something here. Next Interview, number 41, will be released on Monday.

My thoughts on Pico Day:

Truth to be told, for anyone who wasn't a at the party and only able to watch the livestream - it was rather boring. There were a few flashes but some of them were pretty good - my favourite is probably Pico Party Mayhem. Would have been nice to see the Tank awards on that day but they didn't happen and they weren't mentioned since then.

The flash portal:
The recent banishment of shovelware made me happy - although some of those accounts still get recreated and throw their trash on the portal - but the Genre mods can add deletion tags to them, so they will vanish soon enough. That should be the end for the days where Shovelware flashes dominated the portal sometimes and even won daily awards. Apart from that, I still miss an option to flag content and hope that the portal mods system will be implented rather sooner than later.

The redesign itself:
I think I was never vocal about it, so now I will post my thoughts here. It was a bit difficult to get used to it in the first weeks - no offence but Newgrounds looked always pretty simple and was never something that you would consider eyecandy - but now the site looks very colourful and stylish and I must say that the layout grew on me. Definitely one of the most beautiful sites out there - other flash sites can't compare with it in my opinion.
A big advantage is that new features can finally be added more quickly - the improvements that have been made since the redseign are immense.
So all in all I am very happy with it and I am looking forward to more - this could be the year of Newgrounds in terms of improving the site.

Feel free to leave a comment here, also if you want to get interviewed or want to request a interview with someone :3

Asandir's interviews with Newgrounds forum users

This week's interview features the user Sectus. He will tell us how he became a fan of My Littly Pony: Friendship is Magic and what he thinks about the Featureless Newgrounds Chat.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join? Why did you choose the username Sectus?

Sectus:

"I actually found Newgrounds in early 2005 when I was about nine years old. I had never bothered to create an account because all I really cared about was watching the funny movies and playing the cool games that came out of the website. I was also very bound by rules because my parents had stressed the importance of them, and due to the age restriction, never bothered to create one. I made my first account (gius20) in June of 2006, and while I did not use it, I figured I was smart enough to leave reviews. This was long before I had figured out how to develop a coherent sentence, however, and the reviews on that account still bother me to this day. Two years later I had decided that my old account was rather awkward, and embarrassing, so I created the account I use to this very day.

The name Sectus has actually a rather interesting story behind it. I had originally played a lot of Harry Potter games online and off, so I knew a lot of the characters and everything. On one of the websites there was a mention of some kind of Harry Potter meet, something like a comic con for HP nerds. I don't ever remember paying attention, so it must have been something that my subconscious picked up when I was thinking of a new name to use. The name Sectus is Latin in origin, and means to divide, cut, or separate. I personally believe this is the perfect alias for me, as it describes my slight split of personality. I am able to be serious, and intellectual, but I also have a side that is fueled by my imagination and creativity."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?

Sectus:

"Well, I definitely feel that I have changed since I joined Newgrounds. What originally led the change was the fact that most of the people on Newgrounds formed coherent sentences and used proper grammar and sentence structure as well. In my young age I was easily influenced by any outside source that I thought was "cool" or "smart." I was really into Newgrounds at the time, and I wanted to be accepted by the community, so I had developed a natural hunger for knowing what words meant, how to spell, etc etc. Most of this change is immediantly evident when you view some of my first reviews, or the reviews on my old gius20 account.

I also feel that Newgrounds has also been apart of my development as a person. The rough way you are treated on the forums for being stupid led me to learn all I could about not just Newgrounds, but topics of importance as well, such as politics and geography. Overall I would say that Newgrounds has indeed been a beneficial experience for me as both a person, and an NG fan."

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you?

Sectus:

"This is actually a pretty interesting question altogether. The reason that it is interesting is due mainly to the fact that until recently, I never really bothered to intereact with NG members outside of Newgrounds. Most of my communications were with people on Steam, Skype, and other outlets that I spent time on. I am a big fan of online roleplaying as was made evident by my love of Harry Potter websites, so I spent most of my time doing that as well, which helped to develop my literate abilities as well. The first member that I was able to ever really able become friends with was YoungAndWise. I had first met him because I am an icon moderator, and he is as well. I figured that if I was serious about Newgrounds, I should start making friends with people, and getting to know the community, so I sent him a private message, and we talked for a while and just sort of became friends. Further than that, I have attained several other friendships as well, Ragnarokia being one of my friends due to our shared love of writing fanfictions of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Rhinocerider and Skaren are also friends for this reason, not just because of our love of the show, but because we have similar tastes in music, and literature as well."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Are there any users that you would consider enemies or that you just don't like?

Sectus:

"This is a difficult question. I wouldn't say that I have any enemies on Newgrounds, but I will admit that there are several people that I have a particular distaste for. Nobody has wronged me personality, but I do tend to have an issue with the way people act or hold themselves on the Newgrounds Forums. First and foremost would be TheShadling, not because of the way he has treated me, nor the way he acts, not even that his art is bad. I myself am just not a fan of his work due to the gore, and obceneties. Secondly, the user SpamOfCan can be rather irksome at times as well, due to his obvious....spam. The last name I will bother mentioning is Travis. I tend to dislike the way he acts around other users on the forums, tending to flaunt the fact that he is an audio moderator despite having so few songs. Other than that list, I do not really have anyone on Newgrounds that I hate, or loathe. I suppose this is a good thing, right?"

Sectus:

"I think the forums are a wonderful place. They are what led me to becoming the Newgrounds member that I am today, and have helped me not only make friends, but solve various situations in life. While I understand that most of the people on the forums will not tend to take your questions seriously, there are a few rare gems out there that are actually caring and cool enough to answer your questions seriously. Honestly, my favorite forum is the Clubs & Crews forum, due to the fact that it is where I got my start on Newgrounds with the NGPD. It leads to a lot of fun discussions, and a few laughs along the way, as well.

I guess that if I had to suggest one person to do an interview with in the future it would be Skaren. He is a funny kid, and I think he would have a lot to say about the time that he has spent on Newgrounds. Hopefully he will take the interview with a grain of salt, though, and just have fun with it."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

I guess that you have an opinion about the moderators of Newgrounds. Do you think that they do a great job or not?

Sectus:

"Well, they certainly do their jobs correctly, but some of them do not do it politely. I would have to say that my favorite moderator would be Coop, mainly due to the fact that he is polite, funny, and an all around cool guy to talk to. Most people tend to draw a line and say "moderators are the enemy, we should not talk to them!" but I try and ignore that. People need to be able to understand that moderators are people just like you, and they have ideas, concepts, thoughts, and dreams too. They may be moderators, but that isn't their whole existence, as each one of them has a life, friends, and families, just like you do. I encourage the forum regulars to try and get along with moderators, and befriend them.

Other than that, there is not a single moderator that I dislike. EyeLovePoozy seems to be a popular target for people to hate, but I judge moderators on if they do their jobs right, not the personality they use while doing them. Poozy may be mean, but he is doing his job right, and he is usually only mean to the people that deserve it."

You are an icon and genre moderator. Do you like this activity or would you like to also become another kind of mod in the future?

Sectus:

"Well, I certainly appreciate these positions that I hold because they allow me to do something for Newgrounds other than submit my horrible pencil art, and bad audio. I do have to warn the viewer however, that icon and genre modding is not for most people. The work can get very tedious when you are making batches of icons at a time, and you get next to no recognition for your work, despite the fact that it makes Newgrounds a lot easier on the eyes.

If I had to pick one moderator position to be in the future, I suppose that it would be a review moderator, as I do enjoy writing reviews, and even to this day I still actively flag abusive reviews and write new reviews myself. There is an upcoming update, however, that will provide a new type of moderator: The Flash Moderator. This new system will come along with users being able to flag flash submissions again, and TomFulp has stated that he will be selecting the new flash mods mainly from the icon and genre moderator pools, so I have a good chance at becoming one."

The redesign is finally here. Tell me what you think about it. What do you like and what is not so good?

Sectus:

"I think that the redesign turned out very well for the amount of time that Tom and the rest of the admin team were working on it. It certainly is more user friendly, and from a business point of view, the site is a lot easier to navigate. Most of the people on the forums tend to forget that Newgrounds is not centered around them, but mostly the front page. The new design helps in a way that if a first time visitor to the website came on, he would easily be able to navigate without any confusion. As long as the design is able to help people get around the site as painlessly as possible, I think it has done an efficient job.

There are a very small number of things in the new redesign that I dislike. As I have gotten used to it over time, many of the problems I saw with it have faded with the old design. The only complaints I could make are ones about the glitches and bugs going on around the website so frequently, though I know that the staff is working on fixing them."

The Newgrounds chat is here. What do you think about it?

Sectus:

"I feel that it is a fine addition to Newgrounds, and Rob deserves the thanks he gets for designing it for everyone. The only thing that I can think to complain about is the fact that it tends to pull people away from the forums, so they will start communicating via the chat system, rather than the forums. I also think this is what the staff had in mind when they were hesitating to create such a system, but it seems to be doing alright, and not many people are using it. The fact that it is featureless is rather bothersome, but I suppose this was done so as to discourage the further use of it in place of the forums. It does what it is meant to do, and does so without hurting other sections of the website."

You seem to be a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Can you tell our readers how you became a fan and what you like about the show? Has being a brony affected your life?

Sectus:

"Well, I had originally heard about the upsurge in people watching the show while I was an admin on a TF2 achievement server. The owner of the server being a brony himself, I had to put up with a lot of pony-related sprays and micspams as well. This was when I had prejudged the show to be bad without watching it, so I generally hated bronies and all they stood for. After a while of seeing the sprays, and people discussing the show, I had had enough waiting, and on the advice of the server's owner, went to watch my first episode, which in particular was the sixteenth episode of the first season, "Sonic Rainboom". I was entertained by the episode, and after watching it, decided to go back and watch the first episode so as to finish the season in chronological order. I finished the first season, and what was finished of the second season in three days, and soon fell in love with it. A rather humorous fact is that I originally called the characters "The Pink One", "The Rainbow One", "The Shy One", "The Bitchy One", "The Magic One", and "The Hillbilly One" due to my skepticism of the show, and not knowing any of their names.

I would have to say that being a brony has led to an overall improvement in my life style. I was originally afraid to tell any of my friends that I enjoyed the show, but when I did, the did not judge me for it, and in fact thought that it was brave and cool of me to enjoy such a show. I have since created at least two bronies in real life out of that situation."

Every person has secrets. Can you tell one of yours or something else that we didn't know about you yet?

Sectus:

"A secret that you do not know about me...that is a difficult question honestly. I suppose the biggest thing that Newgrounds does not know that I could tell you is that as a child I had an imaginary friend named Spook, who was a one legged war veteran. I used to talk to him all the time when I was younger, and though it is rather sad, the way I lost him was that he told me he "had to move away." This had even caused my parents some sadness, but soon after I realized that he was never real, and was just my imagination creating someone for me to play with.I to this day have no memory of ever talking to Spook, and I did not even remember that he had existed until my parents were talking about it. This has been a rather eerie subject for me, and I try to avoid it. It leads me to think upon Slender Man."

What can we expect from you in the future, Sectus?

Sectus:

"Well, I am currently in the process of writing a sequel to my story, Assertion, for DeviantART. It will be called "Assertion - The Return of Pinkamina." It is a fanfiction of My Little Pony: Friendship is magic, so if you do not enjoy such fanfictions, I advise you avoid it. If not, please feel free to read it once I have finished, and I hope you like it!"

Interview with Sectus

Asandir's interviews with Newgrounds forum users

This week's interview features the user NekoMika. You will read about her activity as Interviewer, former member of the Elite Guard Barracks and what she thinks about awful reviews.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join? Why did you choose the username SCTE3?

NekoMika:

"I was almost 13 at the time and thought a site called Flowgo was funny (mostly just a few and I checked almost everyday after school was out along with some other website I have forgotten the name of). I got really bored one night and went to Google and looked up Dr. Mario, not sure why I did but just felt like looking it up. I came across Dr. Mario's Secret and my father thought it was funny as well when he saw it. After a couple of weeks of watching stuff here on Newgrounds I decided to sign up wanting to be able to favorite and try to review things too.

I went with the name of shadowchaotailsevil3 (at the age of 13, I thought it was nice at the time) but after a couple of years it was more annoying than anything else to type out so I asked Tom Fulp to shorten it down to SCTE3 which he did so the later that day or the next day. I see a lot of people just kind of spell out as letters, I just either pronounce it as Stee or Skitty. As for it being SCTE3, it's been that way since later 2008 if I remember correctly and I am most content with this username."

Changed her name to NekoMika in November 2014

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?

NekoMika:

"Changed over time on here? Yes I have over time. I have to say I have gone a long way from being a newbie who was rather naive and idiotic to being a reviewer and beginning musician. Over time in real life Newgrounds has not changed it much aside from talking with a person or two on occasion about a flash move or game from here that they enjoyed playing/watching."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you?

NekoMika:

"Users that I like? Pretty much everyone in the Review Request Club. Them along with: Asandir, Step, SpaceWhale, Murray, The-Great-One, SevenSeize, and a few others. As for how they affect me? They help motivate me to be a better user.

Outside of forums I would say some other users that I do like are TheShadling, supersexybeast, coleknows, RogerregoRRoger, and quite a few audio artists."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Are there any users that you would consider enemies or that you just don't like?

NekoMika:

"For users I don't like I don't really know of any users I would consider to be enemies. Might be some that I just don't like though for one reason or another.

However when I first came and was posting on the forums I viewed a lot of users as enemies since they were different from me and I was rather naive at the time too and just got into stupid arguments that I would wind up getting myself into and kept acting like an idiot."

NekoMika:

"The forums are a good way to socialize on this website and quite nice too. As for forums I prefer, I like the General, Where Is/How To, Clubs & Crews, and Audio forums. A forum user that I would like to see you getting interviewed: Travis, Knuckstrike, PrincessLuna, RacistBassist, or Manly-Chicken would be interesting to see what their interviews would be like."

NekoMika:

"I think the moderators of Newgrounds do a fair job of what they do in their respective parts of the site. Although from time to time it feels like they could do better since it feels like they are ignoring your PM but go back to what you PMed you about later and see that the problem is fixed by them or another mod. With the redesign getting things fixed it's a lot quicker since you can see which ones are online when viewing posts on the forums.

However when I first started on the forums I would get angry at some mods like bigbadron or Malachy for banning me a lot over dumb things I did on the forums but they have helped though since I eventually began to make a lot better posting habits over time."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Would you like to become a moderator on Newgrounds? If so, what kind of moderator?

NekoMika:

"I would not mind being one in the future if a new one is needed. Being a review mod would be great since I could remove rule breaking reviews and help out users more with answering questions about reviews. Possibly an audio moderator maybe once I become more experienced with music and the DAW (Digital Audio Workstations) so I can help out more there too. Lastly, possibly a forum moderator but seeing the ones we have I have to say we have enough forum moderators for now."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

The redesign is finally here. Tell me what you think about it. What do you like and what is not so good?

NekoMika:

"I like it! As for good things it is nice to see the audio portal got a few new things such as a lot of new visuals and now like the flash portal all users who helped partake in making a song can be credited too rather than simply being mentioned in Author Comments. The online/offline thing for the forums is nice too. The project system is a large help since testing content may be placed there and allow other users partaking in said project to be able to help modify and update it. However while we still have Dumping grounds and now a new Project Manager I still see people uploading test material to the flash portal sadly even though the submit page lets them know that test material should either be uploaded to Dumping grounds or the Project Manager. The tags are very helpful too for under judgment or finding a submission altogether.

Another thing I like is the notification system, gets rid of the old way of having to go right to the user's profile to see if they did anything new and just lets you know they have done something new instead there which is quite helpful in letting you know if they are still active or just stopping for the moment."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

You are a member of TheInterviewer. Please tell our readers how you became a part of it.

NekoMika:

"I just asked The-Great-One if he would let me be an interviewer and he said yes. Ironically I'm the least active interviewer since I do reviews and that kind of stuff."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Is there a user that you would like to interview? From the interviews that you made, which one is your favourite?

NekoMika:

"There are quite a few members of this site I plan to interview when I can. From my favorite of the three I have interviewed thus far? I would have to say FurryNG (otherwise known as OfficialOmnivore on youtube now). When he first came he was a great friend and still is and hearing his first couple of songs, I really liked them a lot. I look forward to seeing what kind of new songs he creates in the future. He also happens to be one of the reasons why I wish to do music too."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

You are also a member of the Review Request Club. How important are good reviews for you? What do you think about users who leave youtube-like comments?

NekoMika:

"How important is a good review? I find them rather important since they are a whole lot more helpful than one line youtube comments that just seem to be well... comments... A good review tends to stand out a whole lot since they are larger and usually try to help the author as much as possible in letting them know what they can do to improve their game/movie/audio/art style.

Whereas a one line youtube comment style comment just seems to be a quote from the submission itself or just "Cool", "Awesome", "Radical", "Could use more work", etc. Then some are anecdotes somehow related every now and then. I do not mind them much though considering most seem to be from newcomers who have just recently began to come to the website. That or they have been coming for awhile and don't find as much time to write out a full review."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

I think that you were once a member of the Elite Guard Barracks. What is the reason for your departure?

NekoMika:

"That is correct, I once was a member. I still post in the thread. My reason for departure.... there were two issues. One was that my much older computer (Windows XP Edition) got wrecked by a nasty trojan that my big idiotic "know-it-all" brother downloaded. Needless to say that computer was completely unusable after a couple of weeks. He hardly gets on computers now though. Other part of the problem was who my father was dating at the time, after a couple of months he was no longer able to pay for the internet so I was offline for awhile. Finally had it back up around the end of the year (November, was gone since April of that year). I was pretty happy to get back internet though, really needed it for finishing up some school work and senior project for my last year of high school."

Every person has secrets. Can you tell one of yours or something else that we didn't know about you yet?

NekoMika:

"Secrets? Hmm.. or know about me? I guess I'm kind of weird in real life."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

What can we expect from you in the future, NekoMika?

NekoMika:

"Hmm, more reviews of course!! That and some interviews and the such. Maybe a few songs too."

Asandir's interviews with Newgrounds forum users

This week's interview features the user Decky. He will tell us about his time in the Elite Guard Barracks, about his art and tattoos .

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join? Why did you choose the username Decky?

Decky:

"Well I was about 14 years old, I believe, when I first here of Newgrounds. It was from a friend who was showing me a new and exciting cartoon series called Salad Fingers. From this one event I went on to watch more of David Firth's flashs, Burnt Face Man etc., although I didn't sign up for a good few years. I was simply unaware of the whole stats and general community that Newgrounds had to offer. Since then I have tried to make my mark to the best of my ability but obviously various things have came in the way like my education and general life problems. So you could say that I joined to see if it could help me with my dream of becoming a 2D animator. As for my username it's a rather simple story. It's my first name (well my real first name is Declan but I've gone by Decky since I was a kid). My original username was Decky1991 for obvious reasons."

Decky:

"Well I've been a member for two years now and alot of stuff has happened to me in my life, for example I was engaged but now I'm not plus I've had another few years in education both of which have taught me a lot about life. I don't mean to come across as an ego-manical, grumpy, bitter man but I am, so that's how it comes out, basically. Has that effected me as a user? Well yeah, I haven't really noticed but I bet that my posts have become more dark and disturbed. Then again I have cut down drinking and other things that I shouldn't do, so maybe it evens out."

Decky:

"There have been many users that have had an impact on my Newgrounds life. For example I post a lot in the Clubs & Crews forums, where I met several people like EmmDubya, who I'm sad to see hasn't posted much in a while as he is a great guy. Also I've had the chance to work with brilliant artists and animators like Fifty-50 and BanglaBoy96. All in all it may have been the flashes that I first came to this site for but it's the users and forums that make keep coming back for."

Decky:

"Firstly you have to understand that I can hold a grudge for a long time and there is only one user that I would go as far to say that I dislike enough to mention and that is HeavenDuff. This is simply because one day whilst I was still a bit of a noob I posted in Metal Hell, the thread for fans of metal music explaining who I was and my taste in music, he was quick to point out that my music was more nu-metal then metal and was not suited to the thread. This in it's self didn't bother me but the manner in which he did it really annoyed me. He was just extremely rude as I remember. I know it's stupid but it really made me hate the guy. Other then that I think everybody on here is okay with me."

Decky:

"I have recently passed the 2,000 forum posts milestone so I think I have had enough experience with the forums now to have an opinion. I think that it is a great part of Newgrounds and probably half of the reason that I come here although I didn't see that happening when I joined up. Although I'm not a big fan of the general forum as I've never be one for general chatter or Internet humour most of my posts are either in the art forum or clubs & crews as they seem to have a more structured and developed calibur of post. I'm guessing that this is how you get ideas for who to interview, well I'm not too sure who to request as I'm unaware of who you would have interviewed already. Amaranthus could be a good one as he is somebody who was can out of nowhere in the last six months or so and comes across as a nice guy. Though an interview with David Firth would blow my mind."

Decky:

"I guess like with so many things in life there are good ones and bad ones that don't appear to do anything. Then again they could be doing a lot of stuff behind the scenes. I'm a big fan of both Coop and Murray. Mainly because they post in mostly the same forums as I do, they're both in the same country as me and I have Murray on Facebook (lol)."

Decky:

"It, to be honest, has always been something that I've always wanted to try my hand at. I'm not a hundred percent sure on the different types of moderators and what they do but I'd like to be a forum mod as I like the idea of wasting more of my time on the forum but with the ability to block threads. O' the power. It's not something that I've given alot of thought to but still I wait for "that" PM."

Decky:

"I was very excited about the redesign having been somebody who was convinced that it probably wouldn't happen for a good few years. And for the best part I'm happy with it, I think that the layout could have been better as it is a little confusing at the moment, I've got used to it now though. I also preffered the old level icons as they were bigger and I'm not a fan of the more pixely retro looking new ones. I think that the staff have tried to tone down how important stats seem now. I'm not too sure if I'm happy about that as I've spent a fair bit of time on my stats to get them to this level."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

You took part in The Cupcake Collab, a flash that won a Daily 1st award. How do you like the improved possibilities to work together with other amazing artists on Newgrounds?

Decky:

"Collabs have always been a part of Newgrounds life that has brought me great joy, especially art collabs. I'm never failed to be amazed by the amount of pieces that can be gathered by a simple post on the art forums. Although it is an ambition of mine to create a game with somebody where I do the artwork and they do the programming. This maybe happening soon with Banglaboy, but we'll have to see if I have the time. As for The Cupcake Collab I did very little and can't take much credit for it."

10th of Agust 2010 was a special day for you, it was the day when you got scouted. How did you start making art and will you release more at some point?

Decky:

"It was a good day although it was about the third time that I was scouted, I keeped getting unscouted for various reasons. I started drawing when I was very young. My father used to draw for me and from that I learnt to draw. After I left high school in 2007 I went to art college were I studied mainly graffiti and cartoony art. This set me on the course to become the graphic artist and part-time animator that I now am. More art work will alway be on it's way, I never really plan it so I can't say when, it could be tomorrow or in a few months time."

You are a member of the Elite Guard Barracks. Tell me why you joined them, how it affected you and what you do in the group and also talk about your time as member of the Newgrounds Police Department.

Decky:

"I've always been some what of a stat whore so it was the logic step once I knew what the NGPD and EGB were about. I'm not too sure why I strive to get B/P points I think it's so that one day after a few more years of doing so, maybe I'll become a well known user on here. As for what I do/did in those groups was just basic voting on under judgement flashs and reporting stolen or hateful flashs so that they can be removed. It's sad to see that the NGPD is going though a small activity crisis at the moment and I hope it picks up."

"It's just a ride" can be read on your arm. Can you tell our readers what the quote means to you? Are you planning to get more tattoos in the future?

Decky:

"Tattoos, the love of my life. More then cartoons, punk rock and girls. I simply couldn't live without ink. My "It's just a ride" tattoo is a Bill Hicks quote from his It's just a ride speech. Which is something that I listened to around 18 months ago and it completely changed my life, seriously. I'd advice anybody to watch it. It just spoke to me and ever since I've had a completely different life view. WATCH IT!!!. As for future tattoos I've still got my full sleeve to finish which as yet stands as a skeleton on my chest coming out of clouds, this will be going down my arm from a moonlight sky to a graveyard. This is in memory of my late dad who died when I was 15. I'm betting that by the year 2020 I'll be at least half covered in tattoos. I'd like to get a Tankman tattoo one day too."

Decky:

"I'm a very open person so I'm not too sure if I have any secrets to tell you I'm afraid as for things that most people on Newgrounds wouldn't know about me, It would have to be a list of facts I'm afraid: 1. I have a collection of funny hats. 2. I have qualifications in art, media and soon digital arts. 3. I have had my hair every colour. 4. I'm 5'10 If people want to know more feel free to PM me or add me on Facebook."

Decky:

"In the next year or so I want to release a number of flashes. I've start work with Banglaboy on a game and I'm also in the process of writing a script for a dark comedy flash. I would like to organise another collab in the near future too. Hopefully something to do with punks. Maybe an art/mini game thing."

Interview with Decky

Posted by Asandir - April 9th, 2012

Asandir's interviews with Newgrounds forum users

This week's interview features the user Piggler. You should know him for his art, and if you don't, then check it out after reading the interview and finding out why he was in court, what you can read on his blog and what he thinks about piglets.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join? Why did you choose the username Piggler?

Piggler:

"I found Newgrounds in either fourth or fifth grade, so that would make it 2004/2005. I used to go on the mature section and watch all the toons because it made my pee pee tingle. I didn't think it was weird at the time. I joined in 2009 because I realized that there was more than animated sex on Newgrounds and I took an interest in digital art. I adopted the user name of Piggler because Piglet was already taken even though the user who took it hasn't done jack shit. Nevertheless, I've settled with the name and it's grown on me."

Piggler:

"I sure as hell have. As you can see in my shameful first posts as a forum goer, you can see a trend of gradual integration into Newgrounds web-culture. I thank model users for setting a precedent for me to follow in forum ettiquette and post quality. In real-life, I am constantly evolving and along with the vicissitudes of American life, Newgrounds, believe it or not, has transformed me into a more critical, cynical, deep-thinking kind of person."

Piggler:

"Well, I've always been fond of Yert, Gerbil (even though he pretty much dropped off the face of the Earth), Lintire, FurryOwlet, Squidbit, and Senmetsu. There are also other users that I respect (Gagsy, FBIPoulx, etc.) and if I see a thread made by one of them I don't hesitate to check it out. All together, they make my Newgrounds experience more enjoyable and it's always a pleasure to see them online <333"

Piggler:

"To be honest, I never liked zag or stupid users, overly immature users, or users who add 'XD' with in their posts. Also, fuck Malachy."

Piggler:

"The forums are a little slows at times, and the topics show a propensity to get more trivial and stupid every passing season, but it's still Newgrounds and I enjoy posting here. I've always preferred General because of the vast number of topics and large user base, not to mention some stellar people frequent there. Not sure about another user to interview though, as you may have noticed, I'm not on as frequently as I used to be."

Piggler:

"They do their job pretty well. As Henry David Thoreau once wrote in his famous essay Civil Disobedience, "the government that governs least governs best", and I hold that to be true in any situation in which the few have power over the many, even in an online domain. I've noticed that I've been getting banned less, and moderator intervention is subtle as ever, so overall, I think the mods are doing damn fine. Fuck Malachy, though."

Piggler: "I wouldn't mind being a moderator for General, but I don't have the time to commit to the position, so I am not very suited for the job."

Piggler:

"At first I said to myself "Newgrounds is ruined. Good God, Tom...what have you done?", but the shock has died out and I'm acclimated to it. After all, I come for the users and the content, both of which are no different than before the redesign. One thing I'd change is that the user profiles had all specific information on a single page, instead of having to search around for the right button."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Piglet - The Unknown Baby Pig is your very own blog. Please tell my readers what they can expect when they follow the link.

Piggler:

"My blog is a narrative, written in poor grammar, and includes many heart-melting pictures of piglets. It is almost like a journal, except it is on the internet and it is written from the perspective of a young piglet."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

You are a scouted artist. I like the submission Zomblie the most. Do you plan to draw more things in that style in the future?

Piggler:

"Thank ya. I drew that picture many months ago, but in the last year, I've really developed my own style in traditional mediums. Unfortunately, my tablet broke quite a while back and I have insufficient funds to replace it. However, I just happen to have a few pictures of my non-digital pieces on my home computer. I'll be sure to upload them in the near future."

I know that you had guinea pigs. How do you like them as pets?

Piggler:

"My first little peeg passed away in 2008 at the young age of three due to a respiratory infection. I felt like a dick after she died because as she was deathly ill, I didn't want to touch her because she was dripping mucus everywhere and my thirteen year old self deemed it gross to help her. The second peeg of mine passed in 2011. I make the same mistake as I had with her cagemate. In contrast to my first guinea pig's quick infection and death, my favorite guinea pig had lived a long six years and had become decrepit over the course of a year. When the day came that she could no longer walk, I held her for hours, forceful, unwanted tears streaming down my face until she finally ceased to breathe and she perished. But yeah, guinea pigs are cute pets and they rarely bite people. But beware, they shit uncontrollably and do not purchase one unless you don't mind spending about $40 on bedding every month."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

You were once in court. Tell me what happened there.

Piggler:

"Oh lawd. Well, if you must know, I was late to school one day and I used to pick up 3 of my friends and we'd roll to school together all cool and shit. That day, I was in a huge rush and I pulled up to make a left turn onto a busy road and I turned left, thinking the police officer was in the other lane. Then the fucker pulled into the left lane as I was turning and I couldn't accelerate quick enough to keep him off my ass, and before I knew it, I saw them flashing lights and I pulled into the cop station (which, at the time, was not even 400 feet away). We all jeered and cursed, our pulses quickened. Soon a lanky looking police man with a gay-looking mustache stepped up next to the window. I rolled it down and he performed the usual procedure by taking my license and proof of insurance and said "You could've caused an accident back there" and I replied "...yeah." he continued by asking "You ever had a ticket before?" "No" "Well there's a first time for everything." At this point I wanted to yank his gun from its holster and pop him one right in the face, but I stayed calm. He retreated for his squad car for the ticket, my hard-earned license in his filthy hands. Oddly enough, one of my friends slept late, and hopped into the car in the middle of the whole fiasco and got yelled at for it. Anyway, to wrap it up, we were all pissed, had an uneasy laugh about it, and drove away playing Fuck the Police on full blast. The court, on the other hand, resulted in a $320 ticket for "failure to yield" and a night at 4 hour driving school. It was taught by a funny black guy and it was actually enjoyable."

Every person has secrets. Can you tell one of yours or something else that we didn't know about you yet?

Piggler:

"Well, my name and internet alias as Piglet actually derived from a real-life nickname. Ever since I was eight, my friends have been calling me Pig, Piglet, Piggleton, etc. Hence the name of my account."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

What can we expect from you in the future, Piggler?

Piggler:

"You can expect lots of crude MS paint drawings of dicks, quality forum posts (sometimes), and maybe I might start animating for reals one of these days."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Now you are filled with more knowledge about Piggler, dear reader. I think it is now time for you to read his blog and to check out his amazing art. Interview with Piggler

Posted by Asandir - April 2nd, 2012

Asandir's interviews with Newgrounds forum users

This week's interview features the user Conal. Some of the older users might be more famliar with his former username GOTHCLAWZ. If you want to know how he keeps himself in shape, what happened to his sister Kagoe and how getting banned 100 times affected him, then you will find answers to all those questions below that fancy line.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join?

Conal:

"I must have discovered Newgrounds back in 2004. I used to visit this really nice website "Flashring.com" which hosted many flash movies & games. I loved that site, as time went on it still had very good nostalgic value until it was shut down (sad face). I was referred to that site via a friend I made because of this thing called "Madness Combat", I really liked this & did a Google search for it. I found MadnessCombat.com & eventually a link to Newgrounds. I would check out the Madness Combat page on Newgrounds a lot & shat brix when Madness 5 came out. I remember attempting to sign up before 2006, but I was too retarded until I eventually got the hang of how to do it (my autism was more severe in 2006)."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

You were formerly known as GOTHCLAWZ. Why did you choose that username and why did you change it to Conal?

Conal:

"I chose to be GOTHCLAWZ because I used to be a goth & my original internet alias was Dark-Claw20. Let me take you back to a time before Vista & YouTube. I made up "Dark-Claw20" as my alias to go by online when I was about 11 (approximately 2004) & is the name I tried to sign up as on Newgrounds. I briefly had but wasn't able to verify the email. Anyway, I called myself "Dark-Claw" because as a youngster in school I used to make claws out of wire & would darken the wire attached to my index finger with a lighter. I called myself "Dark-Claw20" because it wasn't an original name as it was the lowest numeral for an alternative name. As I grew older I was told that I looked like a Goth, I was eventually shown the scene & decided to change my appearance & behaviour to suite it. I made an alt on RuneScape called "GOTHCLAWZ", discovered that there were no others on Google called "GOTHCLAWZ" & proceeded through life with GOTHCLAWZ as an alias until about late 2010 when I almost begged Tom Fulp to change it. I asked Tom Fulp to change my username to Conal because GOTHCLAWZ is a retarded name; I mean, just look at it: GOTHCLAWZ. No need for full caps, it reflects everything about the retarded emo kids you see at school or on facebook. It sucked. It is a very silly & unprofessional name to be cursed with permanently. Luckily I have been granted username changes on various websites, those who don't grant me a new username; I just make a new account."

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?

Conal:

"Yes, I have changed. I thank the Newgrounds community for being grammar nazis, refusing to believe things without proof & demanding elaborative points. It gives users the incentive to spell correctly, explain what they mean so they're more understanding & proving the tales they tell to make them more authentic & interesting. If it wasn't for Newgrounds I wouldn't have the same interest in flash as I do now. I have only just been arsed to start programming a basic driving game."

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you ?

Conal:

"In alphabetical order:dudette201 - She is a user who was my best friend for a while, it must have been from 2006 to about 2008. We tried to meed up in her hometown, but this was denied because of guardians diss-approving. Until recently we weren't allowed communication.joza1 - She's probably the youngest female internet friend of mine. We would talk a lot & I found her funny. She also made a thread about us meeting up, but we didn't get round to it. She doesn't affect me much anymore as we no longer communicate as much.karlu20 - She has many names. From about 2007 to 2009 we used to communicate all the time, I loved her. Recently she's got back into communcation with me, it's awesome to talk to her again. She shares similar principles to me & we get on very well.krumpingkatie - She was a good friend of mine, we gradually communicated less. We used to discuss art & such. We also shared cool pictures but never met up."

Are there any users that you would consider enemies or that you just don't like?

Conal:

"None really. I'm disliked by a lot of people, but I don't see any reason to consider people enemies over Newgrounds."

What is your opinion about the forums? Is there one forum that you prefer?

Conal:

"I hang out in the General Forum when I can be arsed to post. I don't really see much use for me in the other forums. Pretty much anything I want to start a thread about are fit for the General Forum."

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

I guess that you have an opinion about the moderators of Newgrounds, since you were banned over 100 times. Do you think that they do a great job or not?

Conal:

"Sometimes you need to get discaplined over 100 times before you learn. In 2006 to 2007 I may have felt like they were being extremely ban-happy. I was a very bad poster back then, but some of the stuff I was banned for seemed a bit sadistic. I was also banned for 30 days because I made a thread for a flash group that I was in; apparently it's a "spam thread". That doesn't seem to happen anymore. I did deserve a lot of the bans.Rig congratulated me on my 100th, I wonder if I'm the only user to reach 100 & not be deleted? I'm greatful to still be here. I feel that I've improved a lot since. I was banned for the first time in a long time recently for 3 days because I bumped about 20 threads that were titled with the word "penis"."

Would you like to become a moderator on Newgrounds? If so, what kind of moderator?

Conal:

"I don't think I'm ready, but I'd like to be a General Forum moderator one day. It might make me treated differently on the forums which I don't really want, but I'd be very interested in trying it & finding out."

The redesign is finally here. Do you like the new design? What do you like and what not?

Conal:

"I really like it, my expectations were high & it's pretty adequate. I think the "Project" ideas were brilliant & a lot of the bugs are being clipped off quickly. It's gone really well. I would like us to have our banners back though. I missed that."

33 flash submissions were submitted by you. Would you consider yourself a flash artist? Is there a flash that you are most proud of?

Conal:

"My ass! I was involved with spammy flash groups doing spammy shit. The only the "solo" flashes did I actually do something flash related. The others were mainly voice & art if anything at all. The only thing that seems to be worth anything that I like just a bit is "(WW) Madness". It features my voice from 2007 saying "You'll never defeat me!"."

I listened to some of your audio submissions and they are pretty ... alternative. Which ones of them are your personal favourites?

Conal:

"They have so many samples from other songs & I can't delete the old ones. I agree that they are weird, it's more for adding to flash movies than listening to at the beach. My personal favourite is "Start To Finish (BETA)" It's unfinished but happens to be the only track I made from complete scratch that I actually feel some shred of pride for."

It seems to me that your are a huge fan of retro video games. Which ones would you recommend to our readers? Do you think that new games have in general less charm?

Conal:

"New games are awesome! But I'll always be playing the nostalgic games. Like films that were made a long time ago & are what they are (thus remaking them changes the film) an old game was made to be what it is, upgrading it will change the game that was already good. Old games were made to be fun. They may have been made in the 1980s & 1990s, but we can still have fun with them because it's what they were designed for. I'd recommend buying an N64 & playing The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask & Starfox 64 (Lylatwars if you're in the UK)."

You mentioned in one of your newsposts from 2007 that you started a Rock Band. How did this project turn out?

Conal:

"It didn't. I was going to round up some instrumentalists but ended up without much luck. I've done a few collaborative tracks, here's a list: Conal Rhys Fawcett & Otsegolectric - Where Am I? [01 Practise] FlStudiogerman - Love Emotional Beat (Crazy) (ft. Jeffrey Thomas Shuford & DJ Conal II) [Preview1] Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed (Jakwob Remix) (ft. I heard you do fitness. Explain your fitness routine to our readers.

Conal:

"Every day I sleep at 2000 & wake at 0500. I usually sleep fully clothed (even with a hoodie, minus the shoes & socks) besides when sleeping with my girlfriend. I make sure I eat fattening foods in the afternoon, then have 2 raw eggs in the morning before jogging. I'm going to start throwing in push-ups & sit-ups with my fitness routine, but right now I'm trying to get my old figure back but better. The purpose of this is for discipline, a standard of fitness that could get me into the Royal Marines, more agility, more health & it helps me get my 6 hours studying in through the rest of the day. If I don't get enough sleep, I lack the discipline to do the jogging which makes me lack the ability to get my head down & study. You need to force yourself to do these things if you are to get out of a lazy lifestyle. Once you're disciplined, your life is easier & it doesn't take too much effort to continue with your routines. I discovered this by trying it for myself. Exercise also reduces the amount of anxiety I'd usually feel when stressed about something. I have terrible anxiety issues & often turn to drink as a way of calming me down. I am a self-proclaimed alcoholic. Jack Daniel's whiskey helps me relax, being drunk makes me happy & often inoffensive which causes an incentive, but it's unhealthy. I tried working out & it does the job a lot better."

Your sister Kagoe was an active member at some point. Since she left, can you tell me a bit about her as Newgrounds user?

Conal:

"She was cyberbullied by me & others on Newgrounds. I admit I went too far, but I'm not like that anymore. I remember that in response to the things I probably started she would chat shit about people I know in school. I had to be in the special needs part of school, she refered to the people I'm friends which (who aren't my friends) as retards. She was being spiteful & I continued the flamming. But that's on news. Interview with Conal

Posted by Asandir - March 26th, 2012

Asandir's interviews with Newgrounds forum users

Today, we will not read a normal interview. I decided to to interview the 2 straightest furries on Newgrounds, namely FurryFox and TruBluFoxx. We will find out what they think about each other and who truly the straightest furry on Newgrounds is.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

This is the very first double interview. Do you like the idea of interviewing 2 people at the same time? Maybe you can even suggest 2 users that should be interviewed together?

FurryFox:

"I actually like the idea of a double interview. I always like what people of similar interests think about something, and the different answers you can get from 2 people that have a lot in common. As for user wise I say go for a few mods?"

TruBluFoxx:

"I think that a double interview would (...will be) kinda fun. You can see if people who seem similar ( or a foil of each other) actually are."

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join? Why did you choose your username?

FurryFox:

"It was actually back in 2005 that I first found Newgrounds and made an account. Sadly the site was still in it's growing years and I eventually left it. I returned in 2008 to a new site that appealed to me and a bunch of wacky users that had a certain appealing nature to them. People like Lost-Chances, Ragnarokia, Gagsy, Frankthehedgehog,TwilightFox, heck even HotActionYiffFur and a handful of others. Why I choose my username was actually based on a furry chat group I was apart of back then. They all came up with the name *FurryFox* and since then I've worn that name proudly. Sadly that group no longer exists due to everyone going their separate ways."

TruBluFoxx:

"Well, I found NG in '05 through the game Thing Thing. I first started playing on addictinggames, but then when I searched for the game to play it again, I found NG. I started to then watch the madness vids, and playing some more games. At the time I could not make an account because my moms computer wouldn't allow the creation (for cookie reasons I believe), and my PC was used for gaming in my room upstairs where I did not have a way to connect it to the internet. I would play on NG during the snow days in winter, and play some Call of duty: 2 campaign at night. Fast forward to 2011 I had almost completely forgot about NG, that is, until I stumbled on to a certain users account (I will not name names, but they don't post on the BBS as far as I know), and then I got back into some of the games. After I had my fill of Stickman on Stickman violence I stumbled onto the BBS. I thought the forum was kinda cool, so I made an account. Not sure why I picked the username though."

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?

FurryFox:

"Anyone who sees me on this site can agree with me on this. I have changed over the years. I used to be that guy who would post furry porn on his page and everyone would either bitch about it or say they liked it. BBS wise I was that guy that everyone enjoyed seeing or hated so much. Everyone seemed to love me for my Yiffyness back then. Now I'm just a guy posts his daily adventures that everyone seems skeptical of and bitches about certain groups in the furry fandom. I guess I can blame myself for growing up since then. I feel myself slowly returning to my adoring yiffy ways though since that's what defined me. For real life it didn't seem to affect me in anyway what so ever."

TruBluFoxx:

"Yes, I do believe I have changed. I have grown a thicker skin, and I have changed many personal views (some of which I do not wish to express), but I will say, I now have the belief that the only way a person can be truly judge is by the way they handle themselves both on and offline."

Tell me what you think about each other.

FurryFox:

"Honestly I never even noticed this guy until recently and I'm still figuring out how he got mildly popular. None of his BBS posts stand out to me at all (The whole 1000 of them) and his new posts don't either. Wtf man?"

TruBluFoxx:

"At first I thought he was kinda odd for his sig, and to be honest, I tried to annoy him in the most friendly way possible. Now that I have talked to him through his (and my own) newspost(s) I see that he is a pretty chill guy. Other than that, I have no idea."

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you ?

FurryFox:

"There was this one guy called TwilightFox that I enjoyed talking too back when he was around. He actually made me more accepting of the bi/gay furry population. Back then I thought all furries were gay and attention whores on the site. He made me realize that not all of us were like that. I miss the guy dearly.Rig was a pretty cool guy back then too. Always got a kick out of seeing him post on the BBS. (You're still cool bro <3) I'm also starting to like karlu20. This person is actually fun to debate with on things. As for the other users, you are all interesting in your own way and I'm still trying to sum you up. Though every time I sum someone up they leave the site. STOP LEAVING YOU ASSHOLES!! >:("

TruBluFoxx:

"I have those I consider my friends such as Confucianism, Tox, Skaren, Xenomit, and Cliffracer. There are also other users that I like that haven't made an attempt to contact me. ZJ, and The-Great-One are also pretty cool. I am getting to know karlu20, and JBKalso. Then there is FurryFox......."

FurryFox:

"Basically all the guys that don't take me seriously and troll furries just because they are furries. I could name you off so many people it irks me. Though I do loves watching them all get mad over pointless shit."

TruBluFoxx:

"Not really. There are some users that I dont always agree with, but we get along."

What is your opinion about the forums? Is there one forum that you prefer? And is there another forum user that you want to see getting interviewed by me?

FurryFox:

"I love the forums this site offers. I love the opinions of others and love giving mine. When I first joined it was only about the forums for me. Then I became a statwhore. I loved my statwhore days back then. All the 70k medal points I got were a result of my statwhore days back before the redesign. Though I don't post in them a lot, I actually like the Video game forums more then General. Lots of opinions and there helped me save so much money when buying video games. Since I'm a gamer it's just natural I lurk the Video Game forum more. As for more users to get interviewed I say go for Gagsy. She seems interesting enough."

TruBluFoxx:

"I <3 the BBS, and General in particular. I love it like only a mother could love her ugly duckling. It's so rude, and full of dicks, but it does sometimes provide some useful info and insight from time to time. I do think that the Double Interview with Sevvie and Rummy would be interesting enough."

I guess that you have an opinion about the moderators of Newgrounds. Do you think that they do a great job or not?

FurryFox:

"My opinion on them has changed over the years. I remember back in 05 or so when BigBadRon terrorized the forums to when BBM and Poozy were dubbed Nazi mods of the site. I forget the years when those 2 mods ruled the forums sadly. Now everyone actually acts like a mod and doesn't post stupid lock messages and two sentence posts. So to answer your question: Before they did a crappy job and now they actually got better. So of them still suck though :)"

TruBluFoxx:

"The mods do what they must for the good of the BBS. I have only been banned from posting twice, and both time for stupid shit. I actually got a kick out of the time when Poozy banned me."

Would you like to become a moderator on Newgrounds? If so, what kind of moderator?

FurryFox:

"Always wanted to be a Review Mod. I still read reviews left by people that don't deserve to be reviews. I would have asked Tom or Wade for the job but I honestly fear being turned down for being *Furry* I know it seems retarded but that's my reason. Plus I highly doubt Tom or Wade wants users that are openly into furry to be mods. Plus if I was a forum mod I would ban everyone for the fucking lulz. For the fucking lulz. FOR THE FUCKING LULZ!!"

TruBluFoxx:

"Nope. I do not believe that I would be fit to be a mod."

The redesign is finally here. Do you like the new design?

FurryFox:

"At first it was a hit and a miss for me. It just seemed like too much change at one time. I've grown to accept it and still miss the old design but like they say: Out with the old, in with the new. There are certain things I miss and things I don't think we need. Like the star post ratings. I preferred rating everything out of ten and seeing the exact percents scores of each movie and game. Plus I miss userpage banners. I want my lesbian banner back!!! :( :( :("

TruBluFoxx:

" I believe that this redesign was a much needed update to a dated looking interface, so yes, I do like the redesign."

You are a furry. How did you become one and does it affect your life?

FurryFox:

"Oh man that is a question that is never easy to answer. For me the cause of me joining was two anthro characters that everyone knows. Renamon and Krystal. These two characters converted some many people into this furry fandom. Basically I only joined because of the porn. I'm not afraid to admit that either. Slowly over the years it became less about the porn and more about the art itself and the artists who draw it. Lots of these artists are cool people to talk to about current events or just minor chit-chat. I even got a few artist friends out there. I still like the porn though :3 As to how it affected my life....It really didn't do much except opening my friend pool to larger crowds and made me more tolerate of people."

TruBluFoxx:

"By stumbling on to the art, as most do. And, yes, the first pics were of the not-so-safe type. I don't think it has effected my social life at all, but if it weren't for becoming a furry I might not have rediscovered this site."

Both of you claimed at some point to be the straightest furry on Newgrounds. Tell us the legendary story of your fight for the title and how it ended, from your point of view.

FurryFox:

"Honestly I didn't even know this fight existed. He gave up before there was even a battle. End of story."

TruBluFoxx:

"Ah yes, the battle. We met on the high mountains of Uh'Gathul to participate in sexual combat with the Valkyrie-Vixens of High Hrothgar. We stood facing away from eachother at opposite sides of one of the many ceremonial combat plateaus to see who could last the longest in the erotic warfare that would take place. I was set to win until one of the Vixens clamped her teeth firmly on my tongue, which I did not take to. The only way to get her off was to punch her several times. She let go of the muscle in question, but at the cost of me loosing my erection. I was defeated. FurryFox won fair and square."

FurryFox:

"I'm a two-headed flying behemoth from the moon that steals children from their homes at night and eat their livers. I proceed to dump the bodies into the Grand Canyon and fly back to the moon. Fear me."

TruBluFoxx:

"I am a gun enthusiast, a republican (of sorts), an avid reader of books spanning many genres, a big Halo fan, a clique-less person (as my numerous friends span many), I want to write a novel but I hate writing, I loooooove exotic cars, and I hate avocados."

TruBluFoxx:

"I don't know, to be honest. More newsposts? Definitely. More BBS posts? Definitely. Beyond that, I do not know."
