This week's interview features the user exudaz.

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join? Why did you choose the username exudaz?

exudaz:

"Well, I created my first account here in early 2010. I was a lot younger, and curious about flash. So I made an account named after my old Runescape account (Dragoswrath) and tried to make a movie.
And it was absolutely horrible... It looked choppy and terrible and I deleted it soon after.
Once I discovered I was horrible at flash, I decided to start lurking and posting on the NGBBS.

I later deleted that account and started a new one (I wanted a fresh start) that I called exudaz. I actually have no idea why I picked that name, I think it sort of just came to me. Either that or I just used one of those name generators online."

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?

exudaz:

"Oh, definitely! Seeing that I started on the forum when I was ten, and I'm now just shy of fifteen. I've matured a lot and my mind has changed a substantial amount since then.

NG has also influenced my development in the real world. I think having so many discussions with people on bbs has made me a better communicator."

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you?

exudaz:

"I like most of the users on the BBS.
CresIsis, Piggler, Phobotech, Wegra, and mysteriouslila to name a few."

Are there any users that you would consider enemies or that you just don't like?

exudaz:

"I'd say that Vnzi and I have a bit of a hate going on between eachother (we've been arguing a lot recently), but I don't really dislike her."

What is your opinion about the forums? Is there one forum that you prefer? And is there another forum user that you want to see getting interviewed by me?

"I think the forums (General more so than others) are a great place to start a conversation and be exposed to new ideas form people around the world."

I guess that you have an opinion about the moderators of Newgrounds. Do you think that they do a great job or not?

exudaz:

"I think the moderators do their job well, and I need to give them props for doing their job for free."

"Oh god no! Too much responsibility."

The last redesign happened 2012. Tell me what you think about it. What do you like and what is not so good?

exudaz:

"I don't think it's bad, but I do think it's a bit blocky and clunky looking. Personally, I don't see why the site needed to redesign. It looks nice, but it just doesn't top the 2007 version in my opinion."

"I have a huge thing for fat girls, I guess you could call it a fat fetish.

Ed Edd 'n Eddy is one of your favourite tv shows. What made this show special to you? Which other shows of the past do you like?

exudaz:

"Ed Edd 'n Eddy was always the sort of show I could come home to and have a laugh at. It's just good humor, and it's a part of my childhood. I also loved Courage the Cowardly dog, Johnny Bravo, and Dexter's Laboratory."

Mother 3 is one of your most favourite RPG's of all time. As someone who never played it, what is Mother 3 all about? Which aspects of this game do you like the most?

exudaz:

"Mother three is about several protagonists who travel through a quirky future world and save it from Porky, an evil time traveler. I like everything about Mother 3. It's just an amazing title that I think everyone should play. It's also the first game that made me cry.

But my favorite overall aspect is the combat system. It's something only found in the mother games that's really unique and well-crafted."

You are a big fan of indie games. Which ones are your most favourites? Are you looking forward to the release of The Binding of Isaac:Rebirth?

exudaz:

"If I had to pick a favorite, I'd have to say "Barkley, shut up and jam gaiden". I really can't describe that game in words, you really just need to look it up.

And yes, I'm very much looking forward to Rebirth."

Pokémon is one of your favourite game franchises. Aside from the main games, you also play Pokémon hacks like Flora Sky. Which ones would you recommend to others and what do they better than the original titles?

exudaz:

"There's Flora Sky, Shiny Gold, Light Platinum, and Pokemon Ash Gray. They're all outstanding, and I recommend all of them for any Pokémon fans out there.

I feel that they have better overall challenge than the originals. The originals were made for kids to be able to play and beat. While the hacks are harder and require more strategy."

"More BBS topics and posts.
Seeing that I don't have much talent in the artistic realms, it's the only place I can really contribute to on this site."
