This week's interview features the user Wegra.

When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join? Why did you choose the username wegra2007 and why did you change it to Wegra?

Wegra:

"I found Newgrounds from an old friend of mine when I was like maybe 10-11 years old was still into neopets at the time. Then another one of my firends was on it and I ended up using his account. He wasn't really that active so I adopted his account Wegra2 in 2006 I got locked out because my friend got a lot of spam and he changed his email adress. So I changed it to wegra2006 then wegra2007 then just Wegra because it would be redundant. I joined because it had a lot going on and I liked contributing to a site which encourages voting and reviewing. Not to mention statwhoring. Oh and FYI according to my friend Wegra is a combo between the words Wegmans a supermarket on the east coast and...Something else."

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?

Wegra:

"Oh totally, Sure I may be sort of the same but I felt as the years went by I was more mature then most kids my age. Like I felt like I was associating myself with a more different kind of crowd for better or for worse. And I like it like that :)"

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you?'

Wegra:

"Eh I like just about everyone. I mean there's so many I can barely keep track. Buttttt off the top of my head... LiarDee, Luke, Thor, Mia, CrazyRock, kisame, ZJ, TomFulp, EyeLovePoozy, JadeTheAssassin, Carrion, Pikarobo, Wavechan, Cam3leon, tarahloveshentai, Stamper,Josh Bedn, Schizo-Sephy, HappyHarry, floff, and loads other. As for how they affect me well they just are great people to talk to and helped me out a few times. Couldn't ask for better people and friends in life."

"Well yeah unfortunately some of them just follow me and give me shit. Looking at you Slint and Selena."

What is your opinion about the forums? Is there one forum that you prefer? And is there another forum user that you want to see getting interviewed by me?

Wegra:

"There's just no place like it. I get fast responses. Not always the ones I'm looking for but they do keep me entertained. As for suggestions ummmmm....Hmmm I wonder if Pikarobo is up for one of them."

I guess that you have an opinion about the moderators of Newgrounds. Do you think that they do a great job or not?

Wegra:

"I feel like they do their job better then other sites at least from what I hear."

Would you like to become a moderator on Newgrounds? If so, what kind of moderator?

"Yes yes and double yes. Any mod will do. But of course a fourm mod would be awesome."

You were a member before the redesign 2007. Tell me how you experienced Newgrounds back then and what changes you liked about the redesign.

Wegra:

"Well there was a MASSIVE amount of handy features from the news posts which helps determine if users are still active to more smileys and an easier voting system."

The last redesign happened 2012. Tell me what you think about it. What do you like and what is not so good?

Wegra:

"Well it's got its ups and downs. I do like the favorites system and the notifications are extra handy plus the collabirator buut I feel the designs a bit how to say...Overdone. Like, I think it should be simple but different. Kinda like a mix between 2007-2012s design and 2004."

You post a lot on Twitter and Newgrounds. How important is social media to you? What do you think about the newest Newgrounds newspost features?

Wegra:

"I'm more active on Facebook actually but social media is more important then we give it credit for. When you post Newgrounds movies on Facebook there's a high chance of giving it extra views so I encourage it. Plus its fun just to fuck with your friends on it ;)"

"Critically Acclaimed? Wow that's flattering. Its basically just a black dot in various themes like one episode they go to the beach one can be hanging out with villans or dressing up rocking out etc. As for continuing it uh hopefully If I can get episode 45 passed despite it being blammed."

"Oh wow where to begin. There was SO much to see and do. I got to meet a lot of cool people semi celebrities, check out a few upcoming game got myself a Mega Man hat, Hell I even met a few Newgrounders here and there. With that said if you've never been to a convention like Comic Con or whatever do make the time and money to do so. It's a place where you can truely be yourself."

"Love Hina? Oh god um....Yeah shit I should probably update that I mean it's an okay manga about like some dude moving in with a bunch of chicks and hilarity happens. It's alright but I've evolved from that."

Judging from your Youtube page, it seems like you have atleast one cat. How many pets do you have and how important are they for you? What was the funniest experience that you remember?

Wegra:

"Actually they are all strays my neighbor cares for. I used to have a Lapsa Ahpso (Dog) named chachka. And they definately meant a lot to me. Oh and the cats are named Baby Owl and Spottybutts."

"I didn't get much new stuff. But I did like Project X Zone, Luigis Mansion Dark Moon, Dead or Alive 5 and Animal Crossing New Leaf in terms of other games I played in 2013 was Skullgirls, Mega Man Wily Wars, Mega Man X4, Bayonetta, Madworld, Resident Evil 4, Zelda: Skyward Sword, Road of The Dead and Dead or Alive 4.

Games I'm looking forward to this year:

Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros Wii U/ 3DS, and Strider 3."
