When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join?
"I don't remember exactly when. I know I saw some kids playing a game on Newgrounds when I was in elementary school, and I went on the site then, but it just confused me so I gave up and went back to the Cartoon Network site or something. I didn't join until some time when I was in high school, I think so I could get medals. I do remember people giving me shit for getting an account just to play games, so I didn't use it very much."

Why did you choose your username and why did you change it from squirrelking69 to Squidbit?
"Because that was a terrible name, basically. I probably never would have changed it if it didn't have the 69 in it, or if it had at least been capitalized, but I didn't like having such a shitty name, so I changed it. I picked Squidbit because I decided to stop using SquirrelKing when I was signing up for some other game, and it had a pretty low character limit. It was going to be Squidbite at first, but I couldn't fit the E in, so I just left it at Squidbit. I like it better than Squidbite anyway."

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?
"I've probably become a little more of an asshole as a user, but I don't think I've changed at all in real life."

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you ?
"The only people I really know personally are people that play on my minecraft server that xports and I run together. I'm friends with Jolly, but I have no idea how we ever started talking. I like Light and Gagsy, but don't talk to either of them very much. Other than that, I only really talk to whoever decides to send me PMs. I wouldn't say anyone here affects me much at all."

Are there any users that you would consider enemies or that you just don't like?
"Not really. Every day I find myself thinking some user is a shitty poster, but then I completely forget about it a few hours later. Nobody has annoyed me to the point that I would care long-term."

I guess that you have an opinion about the moderators of Newgrounds. Do you think that they do a great job or not?
"They do their job fine, I've never been banned unfairly, and I've only seen a few unfairly locked threads. The only thing I can really think to mention would be a couple backseat modding bans I've gotten; helping people out isn't backseat modding."

You are an icon moderator. Do you like this activity or would you like to become also another kind of mod in the future?
"Yeah I like being an icon mod, although I've gotten really lazy with it. I need to start making icons again. I wouldn't really want to be any other kind of mod, though. I'd be pretty terrible at it."

The redesign is rumoured to happen within the next months, are you looking forward to it? What kind of changes do you want to see?
"The redesign has been rumored to happen for the last 6 months. I was excited but I just don't care as much anymore. I mostly just want to see the new layout, level icons, and thread/message moods."

You were a scouted artist earlier this year. Can you tell our readers why you got unscouted? Do you plan to make more art to get scouted in the future?
"The guy who scouted me did it just because he wanted me to be more active on his forum, so it was almost like a bribe. I was excited when I saw that art portal invitation picture, so I just clicked yes without putting a whole lot of thought into it, then later asked an art mod to unscout me when I realized why I was scouted. I might put up more art, but I don't take it very seriously and don't really expect to get scouted again."

"Eh, my eyes are used to staring at the ng gray for hours at a time, all the light blue is gonna be annoying. Maybe if they have some sort of special Christmas thing, but otherwise I don't care much."

I think that some of the regular users remember your old sig, that was created by multiple users in a thread. How did you get the idea for this and would you do this again?
"I stole the idea from another user that did the same thing, except he used his for about an hour. To be fair I think his turned out pretty awful, though. I liked mine, and I said I would use it until the redesign came out. At the time I thought that was only going to be a few weeks away. But I liked it, so I never really bothered changing it until recently. I might do it again after the redesign, if I can't come up with a better sig, since my current sig will be outdated. Also, a little birdy told me that sig sizes will be changing with the redesign. I did the same thing with my profile banner, which is still up."

"I didn't even notice the thread when it was made, I think I was sleeping all day that day. One of my friends pointed it out to me when I got online. I definitely wasn't expecting it, it was pretty cool."

What can we expect from you in the future, Squidbit?
"Hopefully more flash, but I'm pretty lazy, so probably nothing decent. Right now the only thing I really like that I've done is the cake thing that my sig links to."
