When did you find Newgrounds and why did you join?

Do you think that you changed over the time you were here, as user, or also in real life?

"Definitely. I started and got better in music, this is the most significant change in me while I was here."

Are there any other users that you like, and how do they affect you?

"I have a few good friends on here. There's Kogey and ProdigalAudio, we both talk (or talked) on Skype a lot and shared music with each other a lot. The two had a pretty good influence on my music."

Are there any users that you would consider enemies or that you just don't like?

"No. I try to like everyone, and if I find someone I don't like, I just block and ignore them."

Newgrounds has good aspects, but also bad ones. Could you tell our readers one thing that you dislike about Newgrounds and another that you like the most?

SpaceWhale:

"The biggest thing for me is probably the fact that voting in the audio portal has no influence on a user's voting power. This makes the AP very unpopular, and songs submitted tend to not have very many votes."

You surely have an opinion about the moderators of Newgrounds. Do you think that they do a great job or not?

"I used to like them, and I still do, but not as much as I used to. I read a mod saying (I forget where) that he was trying to be more lenient with banning, which is, in my opinion, the exact opposite direction that the mods should be moving. General is stupid enough. (Sorry!)"

Would you like to become a moderator in the future, maybe a certain kind of mod?

SpaceWhale:

"You might think this is stupid, but I think that I would be a good forum moderator. There have been a ton of instances where I've seen spam threads and spam posts on the forums and a mod wasn't on, and if one was on, he wasn't deleting the thread. I'm on enough to the point where I think I could fix it."

I think everyone remembers your name change to Space-WhaleAudio, the uproar it caused and then the comeback to Space-Whale. What was your motivation to change your username, and what do you think about the uproar it caused?

SpaceWhale:

"The reason I wanted to change my username is because I googled "Space Whale" to see what popped up, and I remember seeing 2 bands that already had the name. For some reason, I thought adding "Audio" to the end of it would make it better. It made my name pop up high in the search list, but people (and eventually I) thought that it was redundant, since people already knew that I made music."

With 245 audio subimissions within 2 years, you clearly qualify as massive contributor to the audio portal. Please tell our readers, how you got into making music, what kind of genre you like the most.

SpaceWhale:

"Really, it was Newgrounds that made me want to make music. I visited the AP once and saw tons of underground musicians submitting their music, and I wanted to be like them. So, I looked up some DAWs to get and that's how I started making music. As of right now, I enjoy making progressive house music and 100bpm dubstep, but those are only the genres that I do the most. A lot of times I'll do others, like Drum n Bass, Chiptunes, and ambient music."

You recently released the free album Words In Motion, can we expect more free music from you in the future?

"Definitely. I've realized that people tend to like music that's free over music that isn't, so I decided that I'd just make all of my future music free. I'll probably make the other albums free, too, but I'm still considering it."

Are there any audio artists on Newgrounds, that you want to collaborate with?

"statueofdiveo is a great underground artist who (in my opinion) seems in the same position I am: making good music but not quite noticed yet. I think that if we made a song together it'd be great, and we would both get noticed by each other's fans."

"More albums. I don't know what to say about specific songs, because I never plan them. If I do anything more that is significant, I'll let you know."
